Vignon wine stoppers – the simple way to better wine
Following the motto “Get the most out of your wine!”, the design company, Menu, has developed a long line of wine accessories based on knowledge of the wine world. The wine stopper is one of the simplest tools for achieving the above goal and extremely effective when properly used.
Generally speaking, wine needs oxygen to bring out its bouquet. An old, quality wine will probably benefit from being aerated in a wine decanter. If you have enough time, an alternative is to open the bottle and allow it to stand. However, if you do not finish the bottle in one sitting, you can place the Wine stopper in the neck of the bottle. The wine will continue to mature – slowly – and will perhaps taste even better on your return. If you want to stop the aeration process completely, you can use Menu’s Vacuum wine stopper, which removes all air from the bottle and thus stops aeration.
With its sealed rubber stopper, the Vignon Wine stopper can also be used when you want to seal the sparkling fizz in an opened bottle of champagne – just make sure not to wait too long.
